Innovative Financing Services for Your Investment Needs

Stock Loans

Our company specializes in offering a unique financial service to our clients — specifically, we provide non-recourse/non-title transfer stock-backed loans. What sets our offering apart is its global reach, as we facilitate these loans on more than 85 exchanges worldwide. This means that clients can leverage their stock holdings on a truly international scale.

The key feature of these loans is their non-recourse nature, providing clients with a certain level of risk mitigation. In a non-recourse loan arrangement, the lender’s claim is solely limited to the value of the collateral (in this case, the stock holdings). Additionally, the non-title transfer aspect means that clients retain ownership of their stocks while using them as collateral. This not only ensures the continued ownership and benefits of the stocks for the client but also simplifies the lending process.

The versatility of our service is highlighted by the phrase “using a variety of structures.” This flexibility allows us to tailor the loan arrangements to suit the specific needs and preferences of our clients. Whether it’s adjusting loan terms, interest rates, or other conditions, our goal is to provide a customized and adaptable financial solution.

In summary, our company stands out in the financial landscape by offering a global, non-recourse/non-title transfer stock-backed loan service, conducted on over 85 exchanges worldwide. The adaptability of our loan structures ensures that clients have a financial tool that aligns seamlessly with their individual requirements and market conditions.

BOND LOANS

Medcorp offers competitive financing solutions for corporate bonds, government bonds, and treasury bills with solid credit ratings. As a title transfer product, the ownership of these securities is transferred to the lender for the loan’s duration. Loans can be structured globally, with loan-to-value (LTV) ratios ranging from 50% to 90%, and our rates are designed to support steady growth. The issuer should preferably have a credit rating between AAA and BB, ensuring strong market standing.

Bonds should ideally be secondary issues, actively traded in secondary markets with ample trading volume. Applications require a PDF Brokerage Statement, no older than 30 days, to validate the security’s current status.

Digital Assets Financing

As the digital asset landscape grows, Medcorp is dedicated to offering flexible financing options for this emerging asset class. We support the top 300 digital tokens on CoinMarketCap with loan-to-value ratios of up to 60%. Minimum loan amount is $1,000,000 with no upper limit

This means that there will be no recourse to clients if they default on loan and also the beneficial ownership of securities will not change for duration of loan

Shares will be held at a neutral Tier 1 custodian, which might include HSBC, Citibank, or another top local custodian depending on jurisdiction.

No, we don’t charge any upfront fees. Any fees associated with the loan are deducted from loan proceeds.

Most lenders MEDCORP works with are licenced and regulated in their jurisdiction.

We accept stock from most exchanges around the world with the exception of Vietnam, Pakistan and PRC.

Loans generally range from 50% to 75% Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios. Interest rates vary between 3% and 7%, contingent upon the associated risk of the securities involved. The loan terms may extend from 2 to 10 years, with the potential for extensions thereafter.

Shares are neither sold nor shorted on the open market. Rather, they will be rehypothecated by a licensed and regulated in-house asset management firm in order to generate returns and mitigate downside risk. The majority of our loans are non-rehypothecated; however, we do incorporate a 15% hedge clause for loans that possess a higher risk profile.

A Securities-Based Loan (SBL) enables the financing of stocks that conventional banks typically do not finance, such as small and mid-cap stocks. We provide more competitive interest rates and loan-to-value ratios that banks generally do not consider, as they predominantly focus on blue-chip stocks, including notable companies like Apple and Microsoft.

We can fund clients in as little as 14 days from request, No credit checks, cross collateralization, tax benefits and clients can use proceeds for any purposes.

Rehypothecation is an alternative name for re-pledging. In the derivatives market, rehypothecation is sometimes called re-use. However, the term ‘re-use’ is also applied in the repo market for the onward outright sale of collateral by a repo buyer to a third party in the cash market. This has caused some confusion. There is an important legal distinction between pledge-based rehypothecation on the one hand and the sale or use of collateral in the (non-US) repo market on the other. In a pledge, title to collateral remains with the collateral-giver. If the collateral-giver grants a right of rehypothecation to the collateral-taker, the collateral-giver remains the owner but only until the collateral-taker exercises his right of rehypothecation. When this right is exercised, there is a material change in the legal relationship between the parties. The pledge is extinguished and the collateral-giver loses his title to the collateral, which is transferred to the third party to whom the collateral has been rehypothecated. In exchange, the collateral-giver is given a contractual right to the return of the same or similar collateral but this claim is intrinsically unsecured (although the collateral-giver is likely to have received funding in return for giving the right of rehypothecation to the collateral-taker and, in the event of the collateral-taker’s insolvency, the collateral-giver may have a contractual right of set-off of all mutual obligations to and from the collateral-taker). Medcorp is the sole provider in the private securities-backed lending space for non-rehypothecated loans and also limited rehypo/hedge products which caps all hedging activities of the lender to 15% of collateral.

We accept secondary issue BONDS (Government/Corporate) with good credit rating from a big four rating agency, Bonds should ideally have good trading volume. We will need to see a brokerage statement dated not older than 30 days from the current custodian.
